My personal opinion on science is that it can be exciting, but also complex. I was never that good at Science. My strengths are Math and History. My weaknesses are Science and English. I am very good at memorization, but it doesn't help me as much as I want in Science. It's not like a math equation where you have to memorize the steps in doing the problem. Science is more of, if I combine thischemical and this chemical, what will happen? Also there is a good amount of writing in Science, which is a very weak point of my skills. However, of course if I am really into what we are doing, I am willing to comprehend the task and analyze it. In one of my science classes in high school we used bunsen burners. I believe the class was chemistry. In the class we put chemicals on top of the bunsen burner flames. What was really cool was how the flame would change colors depending on what chemical we used. The colors of the flame were orange, red, blue, teal, and purple. I was so into this experiment that I wanted to learn more, and how the flame changed colors. This experiment engaged me and opened my eyes to how exciting Science can be.Sunday, January 29, 2017
